Erykah Badu and Jay Electronica Twitter Through Delivery; Super Bowl Porn Blasts Tucson Viewers

It was definitely an interesting weekend. The Steelers won the Super Bowl, Bruce Springsteen lunged at a camera with his crotch and some "privileged" viewers in Tucson got some free porn with their Super Bowl experience. Also on Sunday, singer Erykah Badu over-informed fans by constantly updating on microblogging network Twitter during her labor and delivery. Seems like up close and personal was the theme this weekend.

The Tucson Porn Bowl?

As if the aforementioned crotch shot of Bruce Springsteen wasn't enough, it seems that some mischievous individuals decided that the Super Bowl needed to regain some of its spicy glory. Like when Janet Jackson performed.

About 80,000 viewers in Tucson, Arizona were exposed to some 30 seconds of porn during the last two minutes of the Super Bowl game. The clip was broadcast to Comcast Cable customers and according to E! Online appears to have originated from the adult cable channel Club Jenna. It was only seen by Comcast Cable subscribers, not homes that were watching the game in high-def.

A preliminary report has revealed that the porn did not come from within Comcast.

Erykah Badu and Jay Electronica Twitter Their Way Through Labor

Singer Erykah Badu decided to keep fans updated on the birth of her third child, her first with rapper Jay Electronica. Badu gave birth at home in Brooklyn with the help of a midwife and Electronica. However, the "spare no details" way both singers talked about the birth made it seem as though they were lamenting the presence of an MTV camera crew.

Using the screen name, "FatBellyBella", Badu updated between contractions and when she couldn't, Electronica did. He wrote,

"Labor has begun. Everybody stand back. No hospitals. No doctors. No medicine. We're waiting for the midwife to show."

Then came the fine details that we really didn't want to know. It was like the squicky birthing scene in Knocked Up: you knew it was going to happen, but you weren't expecting to see it. In this case, you definitely weren't expecting to read it. Electronica followed Badu's every move up until she began to push. No word on whether or not Badu began to scream that Electronica was paying more attention to the computer than to her. That's what I would have done.

In the end, Badu gave birth to a daughter. She ended the day by telling those with enough interest to stick it through,

"I can't believe it's over. Home birth, no painkillers, about five hours, she was a little past due date, but I didn't mind waiting. Breath."
