ES = Exchange Student

Every year there's are thousands of exchange students going to United States. For people who don't know what is exchange student, here we go: A student exchange program is a program in which a student, typically in secondary or higher education, chooses to live in a foreign country to learn, among other things, language and culture. (wikipedia)

So after a year living in United States, what will they say about their experiences?

Favorite activity: Talking with friends and family. I can talk 70 minutes without drinking water. - Taiwan

In letter to host family: I hope I can receive an American vulture - China

In photo album: I joined the girl scouts, we often ask people to donate receipts to help vegetables (there is a string of numbers like lottery). The goal is to help vegetables to have a better life. - Taiwan

In letter to host family: I have a pet called 'pus' - Poland

In favorite activities: I like whistling, so I take advantage of it in the school's music contest - Korea

In parents' letters: ...In order to give our son a bright future we want him to take part in "have a senior life in the USA". - China

In parents' letter: ...He is very social, but like most teenagers he needs to have a refugee in his room. - Norway

In parents letter: ...he leaves a message for us if he can't come home on time, so he took us a eulogy from his classmates' parents when he went to their home during vacation. - china

In parents' letter: ... my wife is a housewife (but not desperate), and I am a director... - France

In parents' letter: ... now he is paying attention to studying, discovering the world and how to get taller. - Vietnam
