Escape This Summer for a Weekend in the New York Wine Country

Everyone wants to escape to a new place once in a while, to do something they really enjoy and if you are a wine lover. There are resorts in New York State, from the south to the north, that will allow you to escape for a weekend to the wine country, visit the wineries and see just how they make the wine, and of course get to do your share of tasting. While here, make sure to see what else these New York Wine Areas offer. Enjoy some time in the peaceful country side of up state New York, or on the sandy beaches of Long Island and turn your summer escape weekend into a complete, relaxing experience.

The Harvest Inn is in Suffolk County New York way out on the North Fork in the middle of the Long Island section of the New York State Wine Regions. It is a place of sandy beaches and small villages and towns with plenty of recreation for when you are not touring the wineries. There is more to this summer weekend escape than wine. They do have a very special deal for wine lovers. Two evenings at the inn and your own driver and town car, to get you to the wineries and back safely, a tour based on the types of wines you want to taste, and it is a B&B, so you get breakfast both days. There are some terrific restaurants in the area, so lunch and dinner will not be a problem and your summer escape weekend will be complete. 40300 Main Road Peconic, New York 11958.

Rogue's Harbor Inn is located at 2079 East Shore Drive
PO Box 97 Lansing New York 14882, fight in the heart of the up state Finger Lakes wine region. Another great place to have a summer weekend escape. You get the explore the vineyards of the Cayuga Wine Trail for five hours, again in a private limousine. This is a summer escape for those who like company. They require a group of 6 or more, but think how nice it would be to be driven through the beautiful New York country side with 5 of your best friends.

Back out on the North Shore of Long Island, there is another Inn with a great summer escape weekend deal. As a matter of fact, they have three, from one for the wine enthusiast who wants to go and visit on his own all the way up to an inclusive package with private car. They are located at 580 Skunk Lane, Cutchogue, New York.
