David Tyree's catch in Super Bowl XLII is arguably the greatest play in the history of the New York Giants. ESPN is now offering a special look at that memorable moment.

The feature, named "Inside a Moment in Time," focuses on every significant player that was involved in both Eli Manning's magical escape and Tyree's improbable helmet-aided reception. By clicking on the plus sign located over each player shown in the two images, you can read about that individual's role in the play as well as quotes from each player. Perhaps the best quote comes from New England linebacker Adalius Thomas. "When I see it, I almost get sick to my stomach." Patriots safety James Sanders stated that "it felt like they (the Giants) had angels on the football field willing them to victory."

Of course, nothing beats actually watching Eli Manning avoid the sack and David Tyree pulling the football out of the sky as if it were glued to his helmet (see the video here). There are several reasons Giants fans may feel blue in a big way as January turns to February. Examining and watching the David Tyree catch is something that should always turn that frown upside down. Those of you watching two weeks worth of Super Bowl hype on TV will likely see the Tyree play roughly 2,500 times between now and next Sunday.
