When you walk into the ESPN zone, the first things you will notice are the giant televisions located throughout the restaurant. The restaurant has 3 floors and on each floor are giant television screens at least 60 inches wide. There are also giant screens with digital imaging, Hi-Def, and jumbo-tron screens that are flat against the wall featuring the main sports game of the night. On each television, there is a different sports game featured from college football or basketball, to pro-football, baseball, NASCAR, and more.
The top floor of the ESPN zone is an arcade containing sports games and tickets you can win for achieving top scores on the video games. There is a hockey puck shooting game in which you physically shoot a hockey puck with a moving goalie. There is a miniature form of bowling, a soccer kicking game, and many other options to choose from. The tickets can be redeemed at the end for prizes while you wait for your table. The wait for a table is usually from half and hour to an hour. On nights which are big sports nights like the Super Bowl, World Series games, big boxing fight nights or college championship games, the ESPN Zone will be absolutely packed with people. The atmosphere is great as you will have screaming fans enjoying the game with you.
The food at the ESPN Zone is above average but nothing special. They have a big selection of burgers, although they also have a few pasta dishes as well. They also have a big selection of appetizers to choose from like cheese fries and wings.
The ESPN Zone has a huge amount of tables and chairs so that you can enjoy your time in the ESPN Zone. On average, customers spend at least an hour and a half waiting for a table and slowly eating their meals. Most customers like watching the sports games which keeps them in the restaurant even longer.
Prices are expensive at the ESPN Zone and most meals will cost upwards of $20. However, the service is pretty good and if you are a sports fan, you definitely will need to check out the ESPN Zone in Times Square.
