Books have come a long way in the past twenty years from hardback to digital better known as e-books. The search engine giant Google even has a vast online library of close to two million books. A company called On-Demand Books produces an Espresso Book Machine that will connect to Google's library of public domain books where customers can find and print out digital books to hard copy in a matter of minutes. Bookstores across the world will be able to purchase an Espresso Book Machine to provide on-demand printing services for all the books in Google's collection. This will increase the resources that people are able to find at their local libraries.

The On Demand Books' Espresso Book Machine prints on an average of145 pages per minute at a cost of around 1 cent for each page. The Espresso Book Machines price tag costs on an average of $100,000 per machine. The book machine will open up a whole new market to areas of the world that is limited in resources such as small libraries where they can now have access to over 2 million books in Google's catalog.

As of right now the On Demand Books has placed about a dozen machines such as Michigan University library. The joint venture with Google will allow On Demand Books to sell more machines in the coming year so keep your eye open at your local library or ask them to find out if they're able to purchase an On Demand Book machine for your location.

The deal between On Demand Books and Google will benefit both parties such as On Demand selling more machines since they'll be able to push the fact that people can have access to 2 million books and print them off with great quality printing. Google understands that not everyone wants to view books via online so by doing the joint venture they'll increase traffic to their book library and give people options for viewing the books.

The Espresso Book Machine is like a vending machine without any hard goods to purchase. The machine connects to Google's library that allows people to find a particular book and print the digital copy to hardcopy. The machines themselves require very little overhead expense besides paper and ink for printing.

On Demand Books has filled a niche market that will open the world to a vast array of knowledge at an affordable price if someone requires a hardcopy version. We have espresso coffee now we'll have an espresso book printing machine what a great combination for the coffee drinkers and book readers of the world.
