Essence of Beauty Products Sold Exclusively at CVS Stores

I'm sure that many people that frequent CVS Drugstores have noticed a line of body washes, body sprays and body butters called Essence of Beauty. These products are packaged appealingly and generally smell pretty good to most pallets.

In addition to the soaps and moisturizers the Essence of Beauty line seems to extend into other bath and beauty products like shower scrubbers, loofahs, brushes and such. The focus of this article though is the soaps and lotions.

I would say that the body washes and moisturizer fragrances are easily comparable to those found at higher end stores like Bath and Body Works or Victoria Secrets. They are very pleasant and trendy fragrances that would appeal to most women. It is important to note though that Essence of Beauty does not have perfumes available like the higher end stores do. They only have the body sprays and moisturizers.

I personally love most if not all of the fragrances. I have eczema and therefore very sensitive skin. The lotions are of good quality in my opinion., and are fine for me to use when I'm not in the midst of a breakout. Something I may find as a bonus may be something that is not enjoyed by other consumers. I find the body washes to be somewhat thin. Because of my sensitive skin; I prefer my body washes not to be weighted down with heavy irritants and perfumes. But, someone without my condition may enjoy the sensory experience a heavier wash provides along with the longer lasting qualities of the fragrance.

The sprays by themselves won't last long at all for most people so it is especially important to combine more than one element in this product line to achieve results. I recommend combining at least three: body wash, lotion or butter, then spray. But, because this is a lower budget product line; I believe the price point shows itself in the longevity of the fragrance. Even when you use all 3 products; the scent doesn't last all day. In order to renew the scent I recommend reapplying the lotion and the spray. Then you will give yourself a second wind. So carrying purse sized bottles are a good idea whenever possible. Using the spray alone will only last you about an hour.
