I was turned onto Alchemista by a friend of mine who is a massage therapist and buys her lotion from Sonia. I found Sonia to be very knowledgeable and a wonderful help. I won't hesitate to continue using Alchemista as a supplier, though I admit I dislike having to go to downtown Tucson for anything.
Walking into Alchemista is a complete treat for your sense of smell! Unlike body and bath stores or perfumes stores where the smells can be cloying and nauseating, Alchemista is more like walking through a forest or meadow of flowers in bloom. You just want to stand and breathe it all in.
Alchemista supplies essential oils in several different sizes from 1/6th of an ounce on up. The essential oils are all organic if possible and therapeutic grade. They carry some oils that you might not normally find elsewhere such as Atlas Cedarwood and Carrot Seed.
They also produce products such as soaps, lotions, shampoos, body scrubs, hair spray, and much more. These products are made with all natural ingredients. Many of the products come in both scented and unscented varieties. The scented varieties are of course scented with essential oils, or other natural ingredients including cocoa butter which can lend a rich, chocolately scent. The unscented varieties are great as is, or can be used as bases for your own mix of essential oils to personalize them for yourself or even for resale.
They do sell wholesale if buying over $100 worth of products. You must have a business license and have a copy on file with them in order to receive the wholesale pricing.
Alchemista is located at 1250 S. 4th Ave #150, Tucson, Arizona 85713. Call 520-867-6501 for more information such as hours. They generally close at 3, but appointments can also be made. You can also visit their website at http://www.alchemistallc.com
