The 6 new colors in this collection include the following: "Merino Cool" (a pale mauve with a hint of grey shade), "Limited Addiction" (a deep, garnet red shade), "Sew Psyched" (a pale, mossy green shade), "Little Brown Dress" (a deep chocolate shade), "In Stitches" (a soft, red crème shade), and "Velvet Voyeur" (a deep purple with a hint of brown). Surprisingly, unlike the other popular name brand polishes out there such as OPI and China Glaze that have also recently launched their fall line nail lacquer collections, this collection does not carry any metallic or shimmering finish type shades. All six shades are of a crème finish.
I would have to say my most favorite color of the whole lot is the "Sew Psyched" shade. Although green colored nail polishes have been popping up in nail collection lines everywhere, this particular green is a real special treat. Most green nail colors out right now are either the springy or bright neon greens leftover from the summer collections, or the sparkly metallic dark emerald greens making way in the fall collections. However, this green shade is a pale, almost muted green. Words almost can not even describe this particular shade. All that comes to mind is a pale mossy color. However, it is quite unique and is the perfect shade for the fall season. It looks like it will complement most skin tones and would pair perfectly with gray and deep, darker colored attire.
Essie products are sold at beauty specialty stores such as ULTA and online beauty product retailers. The individual bottles retail for about $8.00 each. There is also a mini pack available carrying smaller versions of Merino Cool", "Limited Addiction", "Sew Psyched", and "Little Brown Dress". This mini 4-pack retails for about $17.50.
