Essie "French Affair" Nail Lacquer Collection - Spring 2011

With the spring season just right around the corner, what's better than having the theme of "love is in the air" as your nail polish shade? Essie is debuting six soft, feminine, and coyly pretty colors in their new spring collection, and they will bound to have you swept off of your feet.

The thought of falling in love, eloping, and going somewhere far, far away can be very appealing, and these nail polish colors do that thought justice. Blending pretty pastels and exotic nudes with a touch of bold color, these nail polishes will complement any skin tone. The six shades featured in this collection are: "French Affair" (a demure cupcake pink color), "Nice is Nice" (a modern lavender color), "Coat Azure" (a semi-bold ocean blue color), "Sand Tropez" (a tropical light tan color), "Topless & Barefoot" (a peachy nude color), and "Kisses & Bises" (a generous oyster pearly white color). Every single shade in this collection is must have for me, and should be the same for you as well. Definitely "Coat Azure" and "Kisses & Bises" are the most unique colors out of this batch. I may have seen similar shades to "Kisses & Bises", but not with the same hue intensity or pearly iridescence. The shades "French Affair" and "Nice is Nice" are the perfect shades to bring out the girly-girl in you. The shades "Sand Tropez" and "Topless and Barefoot" definitely add a extra touch of allure and charm to your inner vixen.

This collection is scheduled to debut sometime in late winter 2011, but has been rumored to be popping up on shelves already. Essie nail polishes can be found at specialty beauty supply stores such as ULTA and with online beauty supply retailers. Due to the recent change of ownership by L'Oreal Cosmetics, Essie brand nail polishes have also started becoming available in some Wal-Mart stores, so do not fear if you do not have a specialty beauty supply store in your area (for die hard Essie fans, the bottle designs appeared to have changed). Each individual bottle usually costs $8.00, and for these swoon-worthy colors, it is money well worth spent.
