Industry friends have been expressing to me how amazing the eStarling Touchscreen Connected Frame is. Hesitation at the price has kept me from purchasing the photo frame because I understood that owning one was not a necessity. The quickly approaching 50th wedding anniversary of my grandparents changed my mind towards purchasing the gift and I must say I have been pleasantly pleased. The following it my review of eStarling Touchscreen Connected Frame.

Photo frames that can stream your large collection of photos have been around for several years now. They continue to grow in popularity and have made companies invest time into making enhancements in order to sell more. The eStarling Touchscreen Connected Frame is evidence of this commitment because it includes touchscreen capabilities, WiFi, and the ability to receive photos from almost every social media site imaginable.

You will be happy to know that this photo frame comes with a rather large 10.2-inch display. It also comes with a good amount of ram (2GB) and a SD card to give yourself more ram when you feel it needs it. Once again though it is the social networking features that make the photo frame stand out. The developers have created software that supports Facebook, Flickr, and Picasa photos. They have also managed a built-in Twitter client, and the ability to receive photos from your cellphones.

All of this technology in one photo frame is quite amazing. The makers of the eStarling Touchscreen Connected Frame understand that social media is growing and becoming an important part to our everyday lives. It was clever of them to create a photo frame that has all of these different capabilities. There is the ability to add even more software once future versions are created for sale.

The only negative about this product is the amount of time I will most likely spend trying to teach it to my grandparents. It appears that this product is aimed towards the younger generation. That is okay because it is the younger generation that uses most of these technologies as well. It is a great product and I am happy with my purchase (an expensive one at $249) but understand it could last me a long time due to being so technologically advanced.
