Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme Ultra Firming Makeup SPF 15

Susan Slade
Having accounts with Macy's, and Dillard's, I am sent promotions from many of their beauty supplies. This is how I got to try the Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme Ultra Firming Makeup SPF 15.

I had purchased my Estee perfume, and received 6 or 7 free gifts, and then I sat down by the counter, and one of the assistance tested my face for the color I would need.

I only had moisturizer on, so she opened the drawer, and applied a small amount of number 17, biscuit. She put a little on my neck, and blended it into my skin. She then gave me a sample bottle to take home.

I didn't use it that day, but a week or two later we were going to a special dinner and dance, and I wanted to look my best. Out came the bottle of makeup.

I opened the cap, and it was filled to the top. I put my index finger, and the next one, onto the makeup, and applied it to my face. I don't use sponges, as I feel you waste too much of the product that way.

I continued over my face, and the top of my neck area, blending into my skin. I didn't want any to go on my clothing.

This liquid makeup is thicken than some of the lightweight ones. It takes longer to rub it into the skin. The color was much lighter than my skin before applying it, but once on, looked a perfect match.

It toned down the purple veins, and also the age spots, but they didn't just disappear. My face had a matte finish to it.

During the evening I wiped my nose with a Kleenex, and some of the makeup did come off. My nose was slightly shiny too.

At the end of the evening I washed my face, and the makeup came off.

Estee Lauder have a whole page of product details of how this makeup will give you radiance, lifting technology, and has all day hydration. It also says that 100 percent of women, who tested it, had younger looking skin, more hydration, and were more radiant.

These are the points that I found to be most important:

" Glides effortlessly across skin and blends seamlessly.

Creates an ultra smooth, even-toned, beautifully flawless look."

It is suitable for mid-life skin.

As I am 62 I might be a little over that. I have to say that it did make my face look a little brighter, but as my skin in already tanned, from the Florida sun, it really didn't change it that much. I can't say that I had a flawless look.

It does contain SPF 15, but as I don't use a liquid makeup during the day, this would be of no benefit to me.

This product is:

"Dermatologist-tested

Ophthalmologist-tested

Non-acnegenic

Fragrance-free

Photo-friendly

The cost of a full size bottle of Estee Lauder Radiant Lifting Makeup SPF 15 is $36.50. I personally wouldn't be prepared to pay that much, when I can buy Maybelline or L'Oreal for a third of the price.
