Etsy Interview with Meli Anna A

Meli Anna is actually my real name and the A stands for Anastasiadis...Greek name. I was born in a little village in the French province of Canada name Quebec.

How and when did you start making jewelry and your other items?

I start making jewelry years ago traveling around the globe and learning all kind of technique with sterling wire. It was a very good school! I can do pretty much anything now with wire but my favorite is of course the Meli Anna A's whimsical style I'm exposing in my Etsy shop now.

When and how did you originally find Etsy?

On one huge street fair in NYC I saw one little booth with very cute little things...She gave me one of her business card and here it was...my Meli Anna A online Etsy shop took of! My tremendous husband always says:" what is meant to happen always just comes to you"

What is unique about Etsy and what about the website do you like the most in regards to your shop?

MMM...I'm actually 1000 years behind time with my computer skills and Etsy is a very well build hosting site for dummy like me! Only with Etsy I could have such a beautiful and professional looking website to spread the word about my little Meli Anna A jewelry business!

What inspires you the most in regards to your creations?

Beauty, loveliness, softness, uniqueness, divinity, happiness...It inspire me to share this in my jewelry creation. I think the world as forgotten a little to much about those virtue and that is the statement Meli Anna A jewelry makes. Love, beauty, softness...are truly the most important things in life!

What is your favorite piece you've created and why?

I just love them all because I made them all out of love equally. I don't let go on a piece until I am fully but fully satisfy. This is actually what give Meli Anna A's brand such a distinction of quality

What do you want to accomplish with your online shop?

Honestly my Meli Anna A online store is a love affair. I already do wholesale, jewelry shows and fair I have a well establish market, but to me nothing compete with the one to one selling buying. I love my costumer and I can't stop my self from treating them! All of my online clients so far as receive a little surprise gift with their purchase in the mail. I just can't help it! It is definitely now a Meli Anna A tradition!

Do you have any new creations in the works? If so, what can shoppers expect to see from you soon?

Heii! I never really know were I'm heading. I just fallow my heart, which is what actually create Meli Anna A's brand. Sometime even a costume order can open my line to many new variations in my work.
