I am trying this product from a free one-time use sample size, so I can't tell you about long term results; but I certainly can fill you in on the short term results. The product is relatively thin, about the consistency of sunscreen, and soaks into each and every pore as it is massaged in; it spreads quickly and evenly. Though it does spread over the skin quite easily, this lotion leaves behind an unpleasant sticky/greasy film. There's nothing I hate more than applying lotion and then feeling like I've got to go wash it all off in order to touch anything, and unfortunately, that's what I got from Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion.

As far as Eucerin's claims that this particular lotion improves skin health and provides a strengthened protective barrier for the skin; well, those are things that only a scientist or dermatologist could judge. What I can say is that aside from the sticky/greasy film left behind after application, the lotion does leave my skin incredibly soft and moisturized.

The packaging states that Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion is "lightly fragranced;" that couldn't be further from the truth, the first thing I noticed about this lotion is the heavy perfume smell which lingers for some time.

If you are looking for a light citrus-y smelling lotion or a soft summer fragrance, this is the wrong lotion for you; Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion has an intense eau de toilette smell.

I have to give Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion two stars out of five due to the intense fragrance and sticky film left on the skin after application. I would not recommend this product to anyone else; though it does moisturize quite well, there are other products that manage to do that part just as well without the additional drawbacks.
