Thank goodness there's the Eureka Lightweight Easy Clean. This "electric broom" is truly a live saver for pet lovers everywhere.
Pros
Out of the box this upright vacuum cleaner is easy to assembly. It is amazingly small and light. It weighs less than 4 pounds and measures a mere 9 by 5-1/2 by 27 inches. Being so small you can easily fit this vacuum in tight spaces such as the kitchen pantry. Since it has telescopic handle you can push the handle completely to make storing this vacuum easier.
Handling is a real joke, a good one that is. You may even be tempted to swing it around. It's so light it almost feels like a toy in your hand.
The Eureka Lightweight has plenty of power compared to its competitors who insist in becoming cordless. You should note that cordless vacuum just can't generate enough suction power to be useful. Cordless vacs can be convenient because there is no need to plug it in to a power source when you want to do some vacuuming but the suction power is a joke. Stay away from cordless vacuum for now and wait until new and more powerful motors are available for them.
As a corded vacuum cleaner the Eureka Lightweight has enough power to suck in dust, crumbs and pet hair from tile floors, stairs, sofas and bed. The dust chamber is big enough for daily cleaning and it's easy to empty.
Cons
This upright is not made to work on carpet. Sometimes it can clean upholstery but most of the times it cannot. The body is all plastic so be sure you don't drop it on hard floors or it will break. The cord is rather short too so it is a hassle when cleaning large areas. And finally the handle could be longer. Even short people need to stop a little when vacuuming using this machine.
Conclusion
This toy-like vacuum really does an excellent job in sucking up dust, crumbs, cat litter and pet hair. If you got pets shedding hair all over your place get this Eureka Lightweight. It does a great job for quick-cleaning and the price simply makes it a must buy.
