Eva Longoria Parker's Ham Costume Joins Lady Gaga Meat Dress Parodies

Fashionable 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria Parker's 13 costume changes during Sunday's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) included donning one enormous leg of Spanish ham. Fitting, for an event held in Madrid. Longoria's hilarious ham costume was a direct and obvious spoof on Lady Gaga's meat dress, worn at the 2010 MTV VMAs.

Eva Longoria hams it up

Unlike Lady Gaga's dress, which was real meat, Longoria's ham costume was fake. Longoria's ham dress also depicted a real leg of ham, while Gaga's meat was shaped into an actual dress.

The only parts of Longoria showing were her famously beautiful face and her stunning gams. The AFP quotes Longoria joking at the EMAs about the parody:

"Lady Gaga couldn't be here tonight but she left her dress backstage," Longoria joked. "Who knew Spanish ham was one of my colors?"

Longoria not the first to spoof meat dress

Eva Longoria's ham costume is far from the first celebrity take on the Gaga meat dress. In September, 'Private Practice' actress Kate Walsh paid tribute to Gaga's VMA style with a sushi and sashimi dress, wearing the fishy ensemble on 'The Tonight Show.'

Only the front of Walsh's dress was covered in edibles, but she did go whole hog with the accessories. She sported sushi sunglasses, ring, bracelet and even some prawns on her Louis Vuitton heels.

Kelly Ripa also beats Longoria to the meaty punch line

Talk show host Kelly Ripa had what may be the most bizarre spin on Lady Gaga's raw flank steak dress, on the 'Live with Regis and Kelly' Halloween special. Ripa beats out Longoria with, not one, but three Lady Gaga raw food looks. A fish dress, veggie dress and deli meat dress.

The deli dress featured a cheese bustier, bologna torso and a swingy hot dog skirt. All accessorized by a sausage purse. And that's not the strangest part. Ripa also dressed up as Rachel Zoe, dressing herself as Gaga. She then shimmied into a classic Cher costume, to introduce herself as the pop star. The show continues with a 'Glee' moment and a couple more Ripa as Gaga costumes. Longoria's EMA 13 costume change looks a little tame in comparison.

In fact, against other parodies, Eva Longoria's ham costume only being accessorized by her legs seems almost boring. Almost.
