Then along came Netflix to revolutionize the video rental industry. Now, for the same price that it costs to pick up a movie at Blockbuster, you can rent as many movies as you want for a month. Of course, there are more expensive plans if you want to receive 2 or 3 movies at a time. It all depends on how much you watch movies.
The system is easy to use. It's a virtual video rental store with all the titles you can imagine. You pick out all the movies you want to see in the order you want to see them and they'll send them to you as soon as you return one, they send another. The best part is that you can keep the discs as long as you want. There's always a time when your rental time is up and someone in your family or a friend who wanted to see the movie didn't get a chance to. With Netflix that problem is a thing of the past. There are no late fees. How movies you watch depends completely on how soon you return the movies you have out.
My absolute favorite part about Netflix is that they have an amazing selection. As an avid movie fan there are tons of classics that I want to see. For example, I've made it my personal goal to watch every movie on IMDB's Top 250* as voted by movie lovers like me. But you would be hard pressed to find Mr. Smith Goes to Washington at your any store. But Netflix has that and more. They also have shows. So you can watch a series you've been meaning to get into or catch up with, one disc at a time. You no longer have to pay an arm and a leg to see Six Feet Under if you don't have HBO. You can rent them! Brilliant! Why did no one come up with this before?
Netfix is definitely worth checking out. For new releases, or old rare movies. It has movies to match everyone's tastes. Get started and see what everyone is talking about!
