As a family, we are hard at work when it comes to living a healthier and eco-friendlier life. We are taking small steps and making changes wherever possible. Our home is our sanctuary, an old house that has seen better days, but it certainly is making eco-friendly progress as well. We put several products to the test in our busy home and I can tell you that Ever Bamboo definitely works. Anything that can make my husband's work boots smell less gets a five star rating from me. Getting the stink out of those rotten things is no easy task. Here is a quick review of several items from Ever Bamboo that we tried out.

Ever Bamboo Fridge + Freezer Deodorizer

I cook for our family daily, two meals a day and when my son is home from daycare that turns into three meals a day. Same goes on the weekends, I cook breakfast, lunch and dinner from scratch. This results in leftovers that hang out in the fridge. Anyone with a fridge full of leftovers knows that odors can accumulate, which is why placing baking soda in the fridge is always recommended. I was skeptical at first that Ever Bamboo Fridge + Freezer Deodorizer would remove odors. After two days of use, both my husband and I noticed a significant change in the fridge odor. There was less food smell and just a clean, fresh scent that did not resemble leftover Italian meatballs.

Ever Bamboo Room Deodorizer

I have an Ever Bamboo Room Deodorizer pack in our bedroom, tucked away on a nightstand shelf. Our bedroom gets a lot of traffic because the main bathroom is only reachable through our room. Collectively, we also throw clothes and shoes around until someone (like me) remembers to clean up. We have noticed a significant change is the way our bedroom smells, especially when the bedroom door is opened while I'm cooking dinner. There is no cooking odors noticeable in the room and overall has a fresher smell to it. We placed a Ever Bamboo Premium Closet Deodorizer pack on my closet shelf. It was hard to notice if this product works well, because clothes usually do not stink. I did notice though that my clothes do not have that distinct laundry detergent and dryer sheets smell after using Ever Bamboo Premium Closet Deodorizer. Some people may not like that, but I like that my clothes do not smell like soap. My husband has quit smoking, so any odors on his closet shelf are no longer there. I think this product would be excellent for my parents, as they are both smokers and the odor of cigarettes is always noticeable on their clothing.

I mentioned earlier my husband's stinky work boots. Ever Bamboo Shoe Deodorizer has my seal of approval, especially since my husband works outdoors and his work boots smell like a pile of rotten vegetables. I'm sure a squirrel crawled in his boots and died, I have yet to find any squirrel remains but the smell serves as definite proof of the critters death. The Ever Bamboo Shoe Deodorizer comes with two black satchels that I placed in the husband's work boots. Within two days, the musty and stinky smell was gone. We have tried foot and deodorizing powders for his work shoes before, but nothing has ever worked as well as Ever Bamboo Shoe Deodorizer. I have two more unopened packs to use, and since my shoes never stink, I'll be placing them in my husband's other footwear.

This product was certainly interesting to try. I remember when our shipment arrived and the house got filled with a masculine and clean aroma from the Ever Bamboo Charcoal Body and Face Soap. I took to my Twitter to tell everyone how amazing my house smelled. For any woman that loves the scent of a man's cologne, this soap smells so good that I asked my husband to use it as soon as he came home. We were concerned that his skin would react negatively to bamboo charcoal soap. He has hyper-sensitive skin and most commercial soaps with fragrance produce an irritation. His skin can get so bad that antibiotics are required to clear it up. He has been very pleased with Ever Bamboo Charcoal Body and Face Soap and with positive results to report. His skin has not once broken out using bamboo charcoal, and he always comments that his skin feels moisturized and hydrated. Recently he traveled out of town for work. He asked me to pack up his personal care items and reminded me to not forget his bamboo charcoal soap. My husband is a man hard to impress, but Ever Bamboo Charcoal Body and Face Soap got his seal of approval. I would love a bar of this soap to tuck away in my husband's closet, because it smells absolutely amazing.

Recycling Ever Bamboo Charcoal Products In Our Garden
Ever Bamboo products are meant to last for up to a year. On the packages, we read that the deodorizer packs should be placed in the sunlight once a month. This helps bamboo charcoal absorb odors better when placed back in the home. As someone who is turning to organic gardening and herb planting, I was surprised to see that our Ever Bamboo satchels can be placed in the soil. This is after we have used the deodorizer packs for a year and their odor absorbing performance is not as optimal as before. The bamboo charcoal granules can be mixed in with gardening soil and will deter pests and absorb excessive moisture in the soil. As an eco-friendly mama in training, I'm looking forward to recycling items we used so much in our home and putting them to good use in the garden.

Overall, Ever Bamboo green home and family products were very impressive. As a family, we certainly enjoyed using them in our home and can happily say that every product worked as promised.
