I began reading the first book, Twilight, at the first of the year. My basketball team took an 8 hour road trip to Colorado to play. With all that free time and no homework, I knew I was going to have to find something to do. I talked to a younger cousin of mine, and she suggested reading the series. She told me a little bit about the book and told me they were very good. After hearing her review, I thought to myself that I wouldn't be interested in a bunch of vampires.
I thought and thought and decided to borrow the book from her. Good thing I decided to read it because it is 1 of the best book I have read in a long time. I couldn't believe house fascinating it was. I started reading Twilight and couldn't put it down.
This book is not only about vampires, but it also shows how a perfect man could be. Edward Cullen is such a sweet and gentle person to Bella. Even though he struggles in not biting her, he still keeps his posture. He treats her like she is his queen. Every girl wishes she could find a guy like him, but that is very rare. In many ways, no one man can be perfect for a single woman.
I am currently reading the last book in the series, Breaking Dawn. I am slowly reading it because of visual issues. I am at the beginning of the 4th chapter and loving it. I really hope this book doesn't end bad. I'm trying to think of the many ways that it can end, but I have yet to come up with a good one. I going to just have to wait to see when I get there.
After hearing all the stories about the 5th book, Midnight Sun, I really hope Meyer decides to complete this book. It will be interesting to read the books in Edward's point of view. I'm sure everything will come into place, and some of the confusion will fit together like a puzzle.
Again, don't hesitate to pick these books up. They are fantastic and easy to read!!
