Build and Design
The design inputted in the device is quite fascinating in the sense that the CloudBook has a considerable weight of 2 pounds, which would be preferred by student that would love to carry a portable and convenient device around. The edifice and structure of the device are made of plastic, which includes some metallic trim in some dedicated places. The feel of the CloudBook notebook is that it is solid and sturdy.
Unlike other standard notebook in the market that features a 32-bit Window Vista Premium; the Everex Company equipped the device with a gOS Rocket operating system. The system is quite handy in the sense that both Windows and Mac OS X users and procurer would benefit from it.
The amount of a given notebook determines the quality and performance it would offer a procurer. The CloudBook is equipped with a 1.2GHz VIA C7-M processor, which is quite when it is compare to device of it category. The CloudBook hard drive is equipped with a capacity of 30GB but for the price it is quite handy. Comparing the CloudBook with the Sony VAIO TZ that is equipped with a 1.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 processor, a procurer would the device manufacturer by the Everex Company need to be improved on.
Considering the processor unit and the hard drive featured in the device, one would understand that the CloudBook notebook is not capable of getting the best at out of intensive video games.
Other games could be accessible with the notebook, which would fit and able to come up speedily.
The screen of the CloudBook is equipped with a size of 7 inch that has a resolution of 800x480 pixels, which is quite handy for students. Taking the screen equipped in the CloudBook into consideration one would know that it is not the best for watching movies or playing games. Overall the vertical angle view of the device is about average in performance while the horizontal has really matched up to expectation.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The size of the key features on the keyboard of the CloudBook is rather tiny and would have some quibble with most procurers. A procurer with large hand would find it difficult to get used to the keyboard equipped in the device. A lot need to be done in other to achieve the best out of the CloudBook by the Everex Company.
There are some fascinating ports featured in the CloudBook by the Everex Company. The rear of the device is consists of the battery and hinge while the front features no ports. The headphone out, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, DC power jack and microphone in are found on the right side of the device while the left reveals the DVI out, 4-in-1 card reader.
A 4-cell battery supplies power to the CloudBook manufactured by the Everex Company. The battery is equipped with capacity of 2200mAh that has the ability or capability to stay up to five hours if normally applications are used.
The CloudBook is targeted at procurers that would prefer a less affordable device that is quite equipped with some functionality.
