On September 16th of 2002, the WB premiered it's family drama series, Everwood. The series starred Treat Williams as Manhattan surgeon Andrew 'Andy' Brown who finds himself a widower left to raise two children. Deciding to start a whole new life, he moves his family from the hectic world of big city living to the peaceful town of Everwood, Colorado.

The town of Everwood provided the usual challenging situations for a new family in a new town. City-boy Andy had the daunting task of finding a way to fit in and win the trust of townspeople who already have trusted physician, Dr. Harold Abbott (played by Tom Amandes). There were also plenty of challenges along the way for his fifteen year old son Ephram (played by Gregory Smith), a sensitive kid and gifted pianist, and for his nine year old daughter Delia (played by Vivien Cardone). Season one and two of Everwood was about Andy, Ephram and Delia getting to know the people of the town and forming close relationships with some of them.

On September 13, 2004, season three of Everwood premiered. Loyal viewers found Ephram returning from his troubled summer Julliard and ready to make a commitment to his girlfriend, Amy (Emily VanCamp) and the introduction of the character of Dr. Jake Hartman (Scott Wolf), a doctor from California who also wants to open a practice in Everwood. But not is idyllic in Everwood The Complete Season 3 as the secret that Andy kept from Ephram in season 2 surfaces with destructive consequences for all.

Fans of Everwood are still loyal to the series even after it ended in season 4 and Everwood the Complete Season 3 shows exactly why this gentle, family drama was deserving of such loyalty even after the series was cancelled. Fans of the show also count season 3 of Everwood as one of their favorites in the series complete run.

Warner Brothers Home video caters to that loyalty with the release of Everwood: the Complete 3rd Season on DVD. The episodes on the disc are excellent quality with good audio. The only downside is that the packaging is a little flimsy and there is very little in the way of bonus features added on. Though the selected outtakes are well worth watching and add an interesting dimension to the episodes.

Overall, if you are a fan of this charming series then Everwood: The Complete 3rd Season is a must own for your collection to experience all over again.
