Every Dog Has Its Day

Getting pretty stinky.
But she was quite happy living with her smell,
just cruising along in life.

Then suddenly,
a great hand of fate swoops down,
grabbed by her collar,
she is tossed into the tub.
Why now?

Out of the tub,
smelling like a rose.
Cleansed,
the back door opens,
following her nose,
a most wondrous odor,
to a small patch of grass.
She rolls in it.

Poor dogs. The very odors we detest, they love. We have three dogs. Our chihuahua-pomeranian mix goes outside and rolls in spots where our larger dogs have done their business. It is perfume to her.
