Started in a small 1,200 square foot school house, Every Husband's Nightmare Bazaar has grown over the decades and now resides in the 8,000 square foot main exhibit hall at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon. Filled to the brim with art, crafts, antique furniture and vintage decorations; this is an event that Portland area shoppers won't want to miss. Just minutes off of Highway 26 in Hillsboro Oregon on the corner of Cornell and 34th Avenue, the fairgrounds are located just across the street from the Hillsboro Airport.
Whether you are looking for holiday decorations, the perfect gift for a friend or something unique to put on display in your home, this is the place to do your shopping. When shopping at the Every Husband's Nightmare Bazaar you will also find some of Oregon's best gourmet foods, beautiful antiques, unfinished furniture, unique home decorations, art and much more.
While parking is free, there is now a light rail (MAX) stop just steps away from the fairgrounds main entrance. If coming in on MAX, get off at the 3300 Block NE Cornell stop. Regardless of whether you ride Tri Met or drive and park, be sure to wear your most comfortable walking shoes as it may take you the afternoon to see all there is to see.
This event attracts up to 8,000 shoppers each year, so if you like to shop crowd free I recommend that you visit during one of the week days in the morning or mid-afternoon. Be prepared to bring tons of delectable treats, sweets and presents home with you by bringing a reusable tote with you to the bazaar. While vendors always try to have enough bags available for shoppers, bringing a reusable bag or two will ensure that you have something to carry your goodies in while remaining environmentally conscious.
