Every Year Itch

A Woman Bored

I know, you know
it's true for me to go,
for I have seen the summer rain,
and long to run away
laughing in its wicked warmth,
seeing through its shades of gray,
and you too have been called away,
with love on hold
we lose control,
and knowing we are always whole
in daddy's arms again,
we close our eyes to look at him.
Wrap ourselves up in his soul,
learn the lessons of this sin.
If love will never leave our side,
must narrow be the path we stay?
Or either way
to shun the itch,
or taste a most delicious pace
and feel the thrill of sudden grip,
must love we know then pass away?

    Love is undying and never passes away. Ones left behind may have a broken heart, but remember.

    I can't agree that love passes away. Just an opinion though. As long as there is a supreme being, there is love.
