Here are a few daily diet and exercise tips that you can do while around the house.

Just because you can't make it to the gym, doesn't mean you can't keep in shape. These exercises are easy to do while you're watching TV or just cleaning the house. While you're up to your daily routine of chores and watching your soaps, you can still be feeling good and working your muscles.

And some easy dieting tips without the diet telling you what to eat and when to eat it. No one likes to skip a meal, or be told what to eat. But losing weight also depends on how you eat, and how much. You don't want to binge, or stress eat, and these tips will help you stay focused.

1. Drink at least 36 oz. of water a day. Sipping cold water will make your body work more, rather than drinking hot or warm water. This will speed up the fat burning process, and keep you from getting dehydrated.

2. Craving a snack? Think "sugar free". Snacking on sugar free treats, such as jello and ice pops, gives you the sweet flavor you're wanting and it's not packing on the calories.

3. Eat smaller portions. Using smaller plates or saucers at meal times will help you control how much you eat. And finishing all that's on your plate will give you the feeling of being full.

4. Chew slowly. Eating more slowly, and taking your time will not only digest your food better, it'll make you feel better afterward also. Instead of feeling tired and sluggish from over eating, or eating too fast. Also, you'll get full faster.

5. Drink a full glass of water before your meal. Having something on your stomach before you eat, will fill you up quicker. Which means you won't get the urge to get up for seconds.

6. Kick the cravings. When feeling the urge to eat, or binge eat, exercise instead. Being energetic will make you feel healthier and less hungry.

7. Exercise often. It's healthy and the energy boosts will help you to eat less.

8. Do the chores. This is actually a workout. Making you alert, and doesn't feel like a workout, because you'll be doing the things you do everyday anyhow.

9. Walking. Whenever you can, walking is a great way to relax and burn calories. Even if its just once around the block. Walking the dog or getting on the treadmill while watching your soaps, both are great motivations to walk daily.

10. Keep going. While watching your shows, instead of channel surfing during the commercials, get up and do some squats. It'll give you a timer to go by (until the show comes back on). And it'll help pass the time till your show comes back on.
