Everything Happens for a Reason

Jean Davis
You may never realize the reason for something happening in your life, but rest assured God is still in command.

Nothing happens without He wills it to happen or gives His permission,

because He holds the world in His hands.

Something may happen to teach us.

It can be a lesson we think is too harsh at the time.

Later we realize it was for our own good and we pass the test just fine.

As we grow and hopefully mature in wisdom and strength we learn to accept

each lesson with grace.

If you take notice you will probably see that each time something seemingly bad happens something good comes along to take its' place.

Jean, Receiving your poem today was certainly a God-thing. I just found out my daughter who never has lived more than 15 minutes away from me is moving several states away. This poem was truly a comfort to me.

Thank you Jean for your usual words of wisdom. Sometimes as we go through our strifes it is hard remember that God has a reason. I will pass your words of wisdom on to others. He is good and we just need to thank him everyday for the good blessings that we have.
