Everything You Must Know Before Downloading Free Movies & Music

Like many other internet users, I was pretty skeptical about visiting one of those websites that let you download files like movies and music. I've heard nightmare stories of people who download these files and later find out that a computer virus came with it!

On top of that, I also had doubts concerning the legality of downloading movies. We all remember the little girl that got sued because she was downloading music for a school project, right? Despite my fear of the bad things that could come with downloading movies, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot anyway. What can I say... I really wanted free music and movies!

Well, I did some research on some file sharing sites. It seems that websites like Kazaa still cause many people to end up with spyware and adware on their computer. I immediately ruled this company out because of that one fact. Still, if I wanted to download movie and music files, I had no doubt that some computer protection software would do me some good.

This wasn't too much of a problem for me because my company pays for my internet security costs. On top of that the movie website that I chose provided free spyware and adware removers.

I also learned that the illegal download issue is still a problem, but much less of a problem now than it was a few years ago. It seems security has gotten tighter and the rules are less strict now. Fortunately, there are still some download movie sites that allow you to download exactly what you were looking for.

I signed up with a file sharing company based on hours of research and comparing of sites. I happily started searching through all the files, but I think I went a bit overboard. I somehow managed to sit there for 3 hours searching, downloading movie & music files, and burning them onto CDs. This leads us to the one major drawback about this download movie site.

Although I could download tons of free music and movies, my house was getting messier by the minute. I forgot to take out the trash and wash the dishes the day I joinged because I was glued to my seat searching for songs and movies all day! That download movie site is lots of fun but no one should be sitting around downloading music all day!

I have to admit that downloading legal movies was easier than I thought. There are a million places that claim this, yet there are hardly any websites that really deliver. It's all a matter of finding the right download movie site.

However, please don't let downloading movies turn into an addiction. You still have to keep up with work, household chores, and exercise. Don't let all the free movies seduce you into forgetting reality.
