According to Lords long time pal Liz Smith, "She sounded happier than I've ever known her". She hid her pregnancy while filming her latest movie for Lifetime, "Point of Entry". Now she has to prepare for her newest role, being a mommy. A role she seems more than happy and ready to play.

Traci Lords has been a well known for being an underage porn star many years ago. Now at 39 years old, her resume has added quite a bit more, mainstream type jobs. She has been in movies such as "Crybaby", "A Novel Romance", "Your Name Here", " Not Of This Earth" and many other made for TV movies. She was also in many TV shows such as "Melrose Place", "Roseanne", "Nash Bridges" and "Married With Children". She also started a singing career that has been quite successful according to www.tracilords.com.

By the age of eighteen, she had starred in dozens of hard core porn movies. All of these films were pulled from store shelves since she was underage. She had made a few adult movies after turning 18 years old and they are still on the market. She decided after making those movies that she wanted to do more with her life and started acting in different movies and television shows.

She also wrote her own book entitled "Traci Lords:Underneath It All", which mapped out her entire life up to that point. She had an abusive start in life but has turned that around to have a more positive, happy life. Lords had written and directed her first film "Sweet Pea" in the fall of 2005. She seems to have found her niche in life, which does not include doing adult movies anymore.
