Examine the Situation
A & B have a conversation going on about C,
C has a conversation going on about A & B,
And these everyday people are a threat to you and me
Hollywood phenomenons receive a star on the walk of fame,
But inquiring minds will do their best to cause them pain
The love of money and greed brings out the backstabbers devious deeds
The trouble is when it hits home,
It leaves you paranoid checking for taps on your phone,
Because your worst enemy can be your kin or friend,
Leaving the situation quite grim
So beware of whom you turn to,
The one smiling in your face can be the same one
To turn their back on you
On any given day

Maybe this is why I have exactly one friend. Minus my husband and daughter. Ok - so 3. Well then there is my mom. I think people cling to friends that really they should just drop, for fear of being alone. I'd rather be alone than surrounded by subpar folks anyday. Great poem

Sometimes things ARE set against you. There is a man whose father had my dad killed who still haunts my family today because I had the guts to try to prove this. He has so much money that he was able to pay an old friend who already was a multi millionaire to work for him against me. This man, who will remain nameless because I am working on a book about this, is seen just about every week on TV in many countries. The man's son is already training to take over in case he should die before me so his son can continue to interfere with my family. Yes, things like this give you a jaundiced look at the world for good reason. I did, however, enjoy this piece of writing. It shows great depth and understanding.
