Exciting July Events in Myrtle Beach South Carolina

Looking for something fun and exciting for your family to do this summer? Then you may want to consider taking them down to Myrtle Beach to catch some sand and sun, not to mention one of the many exciting activities happening in and around Myrtle Beach during the month of July. July 1st-8th you can catch the Star Spangled Celebration happening at Broadway At The Beach, on Myrtle Beach, from 10am to 10 pm everyday.

Catch some patriotic music, street entertainers, watch the parade and get involved in one of the many prize giveaways they'll have going on. And on July 4th there will be a huge fireworks display on Cherry Grove Pier in N. Myrtle Beach. From 9pm until 11pm you can catch some of the most amazing fireworks displays on the grandstand.

Also on July 4th, the 12th Annual Battleship Blast will be held in the historic downtown Wilmington area. At 9.05pm watch the magnificent fireworks over the historic USS NORTH CAROLINA battleship. And on the 4th of July at 10pm catch the 25th July 4th Boat Parade happening on the waterfront at Murrells Inlet. Enjoy the many boats decorated in patriotic themes during the annual boat parade. July 12th and 13th catch Art In The Park located in Chapin Park, Myrtle Beach, It happens at 10 am until 4 pm.

There will be over 60 artists displaying and selling some of their original pieces. This is a free event. Of course, you'll want to come prepared to buy your own piece of original art made by one of our local artists.

If there just happens to be a dancer in your traveling party, you won't want to miss the Junior SOS dance held July 15th and 20th at various locations in N. Myrtle Beach. Dancers ages 6 through 20 come together for a week of dancing and fun.

And for the golfing enthusiast, July 17th and 19th will be the Grand Strands annual Father and Son Team Classic Gold Tournament held on various courses of the Grand Strand. This is a 52 hole tournament open to all father- sons. There is an entry fee for this event.
