Harry Potter toys and collectibles have been popular for years, thanks to the series of Harry Potter books and movies. Now with the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios they have even more.

This fantastic Harry Potter land has been a huge success, with over one million visitors since they opened this year. One thing that surprised the people at Universal Studios is how popular the Harry Potter toys and collectibles have been.

They made over 600 new licensed Harry Potter toys and merchandise to fill the shops in Hogsmeade village. Those have been flying off the racks, often running out of items each day. They really did not expect the Harry Potter merchandise to be so popular.

One of the most sought after items has been the Harry Potter wands at Ollivander's magic wand shop. They often have an hour or two wait line just to get into the shop! They even opened an outside cart to sell more Harry Potter wands.

All the shops in the new Harry Potter land have a wait of 10 minutes to an hour just to get in and see what they have. The big draw is that you can only find these Harry Potter toys and collectibles here, inside the Harry Potter park.

However Universal Studios has recently opened up a new online store you can find in their website. There you can buy some of the new Harry Potter collectibles, but only a little of it.

The Harry Potter toys and collectibles you can find at Harry Potter land are quite diverse. You can buy a flying broom, detailed figurines of dragons and Harry Potter characters, Harry Potter posters and apparel, books and more.

You can even buy items that were a central part to scenes from the Harry Potter movies, like the chomping monster book to chocolate covered frogs. In fact there is lots of candy you can find here too, much of it modeled after the candy Harry Potter and friends ate in the movies.
