Writing effective online advertisement copy is crucial to the success of your advertisement campaign, more so than what advertiser you go through, what package you choose, and how much you pay. Your ad copy is what draws in the customer, and if you have your customer sold on purchasing a product or service before he even enters your website, your conversion rate is going to see phenomenal increases.
Luckily, writing advertisement copy doesn't need to be a guessing game, where you waste hundreds of dollars on trial-and-error advertising to try to figure out "what works." Use the five simple tips below for effective and profitable online advertisements!
1.) Use keywords effectively
Keywords are the bread and butter of online advertising. They give your ad relevancy, ensure that your ad ends up on pages where it makes sense to have ads, and catches the attention of potential customers. Research your keywords thoroughly and make intelligent decisions about which keywords you will target.
2.) Call to action!
If you want any kind of attention to be drawn to your ad at all, you'll need something different and unique that makes your potential customers want to read the ad and click through to see the website being advertised. This is not an easy task. Call to actions help us to add a sense of urgency and distinguish our advertisements. This ensures that the traffic your ads are bringing in is the kind of traffic that is going to result in sales.
3.) Display your URL
All successful websites rely on not only online advertising, but brand recognition as well. You want your name to seem recognizable and trustworthy, so you need to get your name out there. Be sure that every advertisement you put out has your URL front and center, with each word in the domain name capitalized in order to allow for easy reading.
4.) Push your hook
