1. Figure out what exercise equipments to get but it should be affordable such as exercise ball, mat, resistance band, dumbbells are just a few ideas. You can also break it up where you do 10 minutes three times a day instead of just straight up 30 minutes. If you have a baby at least 4 or 5 months, use your baby to exercise with.
2. When you need to go somewhere that is within walking distance, take the time to just walk there with some items with you. Not only will it save you more money for gas but get some fresh air and if you have some kids, have them walk with you. Together will motivate the kids more if done together.
3. If traveling is involved, use some exercise equipment to work with you. I hate that people make up some excuses to not exercise but using simple things such as the trail within walking distance will do wonders. Not only that but get to meet others that are doing what you are doing. Great way to socialize if possible. Get away from what you are working on since you need to take a break once in a while.
4. If you belong to some gym or health club, take advantage of what's there. Some clubs are widespread such as curves, LA Fitness, Bally's, and Gold's Gym comes to mind. They even have childcare for some places and if you have older kids, you are lucky. They can somewhat entertain themselves but if very young, have someone you know to help you take care of them for you.
5. Having a friend or two to workout with will do wonders. That way, you will motivate each other to do better and maybe to input ideas where everyone would benefit. Play some basketball, volleyball, do some jumping jacks at some gym in your local area. Whatever works for everyone. If you don't have any, check out online places to look for someone to workout with if you both belong to the same gym or find some place where you can meet with each other.
I hope these will give you some motivation to get yourself in shape. If you are feeling lonely, take some time to socialize and try to get together with someone where you both will succeed with it. Until then, go and workout and see yourself healthy once again.
