Exercises for Thinner Arms

It's fairly easy to tone your biceps, but the underside of the arm (triceps) can often be trickier to tone as it is not used as often as the biceps.

These muscles need to be isolated in order to tone them, here are some exercises to help you tone these muscles.

Don't forget to warm up!

  1. Stand in front of a wall, arms outstretched, place your hands shoulder width apart at head level (your fingertips should be level with the top of your head)
  2. Keeping your feet where they are, slowly lean forward, most of your weight should be supported by your hands.
  3. Hold for 5 seconds and use your arms to slowly push yourself away from the wall.
  4. Repeat for 10 minutes a day.

Hold a small weight in each hand, you can either use a dumbbell or small cans, anything as long as the weights are even.

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart; make sure your back is straight.
  2. Making sure your arms are straight, slowly raise one arm behind your back to a height that you are comfortable with.
  3. Slowly bring it down and repeat with the other arm.
  4. Do this for about fifteen minutes a day.
  1. Raise both your hands above your head. Put your palms together and push them hard together.]
  2. Still pushing your palms together, slowly bring your hands down to your chest.
  3. With your palms still pushed together, raise your hands above your head.
  4. Repeat for about 15 minutes per day.
This exercise will also help you to tone the muscles that support your breasts.
