Exit Planet Earth: What Will You Leave Behind?

Somethings Just Can't Be Taken with You

Kevin Lamb
We enter into this world with nothing, and leave in the same way. What we learn and experience in this life (and pass on to others) could fill a hundred libraries of thought. Every day of our existence is filled with some type of interaction which usually goes un-noticed.

We smile and nod as we pass others on the street or at our jobs, without giving a thought at the end of the day who we talked to, or what we spoke about. Most of these conversations are soon lost in the vastness of the mind.

The Ripples of Time

Everyday of our existence we leave subconscious impressions on people whether we realize it or not. Although some of these might be bad impressions, the majority of them are good impressions which stick with these people for the rest of their lives. We are all millions of ripples in the never-ending river of life.

The hundreds of conversations with our family members and friends also stick deep in their subconscious minds. These memories live on as they're passed on to their children, and their children's children, and so on.

What we've just left behind is exactly what our parents left us: memories, and experiences of the mind and soul. Small pieces of us are left on the world each day as we pass through; like a comet streaming through a Nebula scattering bits and pieces of itself along the way.

Pieces of the Soul

Years after we have left this world even the smallest of our intentions come into bloom like a beautiful flower. Now the scheme of life and time moves on again. We're just a particle of time which has been left behind.

Our existence in this world is never really over. We leave bits and pieces of ourselves in others whom we've shared our third dimensional existence with. Part of everyone is left behind to live on and prosper after we've gone.

This legacy will go on farther than our wildest dreams could ever imagine. Our love and our hopes ride with our friends and family members long after we've left this world.

The Ascension

Finally when we depart from this world, we leave behind our "physical" third dimensional existence. Most of our ego is left behind as we merge with the best part of ourselves the "higher self."

When the ego is diminished, the never-ending battle for survival and power also disappears. Now what we've left behind in this world is no longer needed as we pass on to the next stop in the ascension of the soul.

Our third dimensional existence has been shed as the soul moves on to the next step. No longer are we weighed down by our old third dimensional body because it's also been left behind. This is probably what most people fear leaving the most: their third dimensional shell. And of course this is the last thing that's left behind as we evolve into the never-ending spirit of the cosmos.
