Exotic Dancing Geckos

Geckos are sweethearts, who violate the indecent exposure laws on a regular basis, who somehow are able to get away with this, being that these geckos are not members of our human society. Managing a group of the latest, although, vastly underappreciated segment of our society, the geckos, well, this sub-culture has its own idead. Getting the little guys and gals to wear clothing certainly is an exotic idea, although, it may be an idea way before its time.

I have been continuing my stupid experiment, trying to convince geckos to put clothing on while on stage, however, both the entertainers and the backers think it is a ridiculous idea. I am being told to declare bankruptcy, so I guess I have to quit being their manager and get a job. Fun is fun, however, the wildest dreams of managing this little band are not paying me enough to justify continuing this. I realize that .50 cents to $1.50 in pennies for their salaries plus food is not a whole lot of money, and I imagine that I could continue to do this, if I had any sort of a revenue from their act, which I do not.

Presently, the Folies Bergere outfits for the geckos are just in my wildest dreams, I cannot convince these characters to even wear hats and aprons, I have no idea what sort of a venue would appreciate this act, even if I could get them to do rehearsals. I realize that this is a low budget production, however, right now, its too much money for me to do - I have to face the fact that I cannot even afford my very own gecko dance troupe.

I have been told by my backer, when I finally told her exactly what else I was trying to produce other than nature photography that the idea of getting geckos to wear exotic dance costumes was ridiculous. I guess I should consider myself lucky that she did not carry on about it. Here I was, thinking that I had the hottest thing going since Mothra or Godzilla or Shrek. However, she is right - you don't see the Geico insurance company mascot wearing clothes, do you?
