Took a long walk up 21 de Septiembre, turned on Espana heading towards Centro, kids started complaining about being hungry. Stopped in a nice little bistro, Las Flores, low key in Parque Rodo, had some pizza (they don't know about pepperoni, so we settled for Jamon), shared a Milanesa, back on the street. Stopped in some furniture stores along Espana, just to look, saw some really nice combo bunk beds/kids desk set with built in drawers, perfect space saver ideas for a small city apartment. Made it down to centro, got our bank accounts open at the Banco Republica, easy as pie, and very quick. Walked over to the internet/international calling center, called Marlyn's mom. Caught a Taxi to the Southrons Thursday Night Happy Hour. Had a great time meeting the folks from the Forum, The kids freaked at first, they're a little skittish of dogs, but warmed up a little by the end of the night.

Today we're heading back to the mall to find out why our cell phones haven't activated yet, and to find a converter for the kids Nintendo chargers, then I think we'll head over to the Herradura School to enroll me in a Spanish Program. While I still have the time and a few pesos left, I think it would be a good investment, before I get to caught up in the struggle of daily living.
