Hebrews 11:1(KJV)
In this race called life, people often place their faith in things that can easily be validated by sight or touch. For example, without much thought you sat down in front of your computer not worrying if the chair would collapse. We also place our faith in other human beings and get very frustrated when they fall short of our expectations.
When you mention faith in God, faith goes beyond feelings, hopes and emotions. Neither is faith a fantasy filled belief. There are many secular definitions of faith, but faith is something that can not easily be defined.
Anyone can sit back and memorize biblical scripture, wear fancy gold crosses around their necks and even preach from the pulpit; but have no faith in God what so ever. Religion has a habit of being mundane; people act out of habit rather than belief. Bigger than religious routines, faith is a way of life. It influences actions, it brings about good works.
Accepting God's favor in your life is one way of being faithful. Circumstances in life have a tendency to lead us away from God given soul prosperity. This is the predestined path to our destiny. We look to others for clarification in things that trouble us, seek drugs to make us feel better but we shy away from our God given instincts.
The words that we speak determine our level of faith. Words can make or break another person's spirit and affect those around us. What flows from our mouths unlocks vital events in our lives. Speaking in faith releases all the good that God has to offer. Our words and our thoughts have power to generate conditions in our lives. In other words, be cautious about what you say. Negative words go against everything God has planned for us.
We all have been given a magnificent gift from God. God's gift of unconditional love is something that we need to hold on to in times of trouble. Being faithful to the Lord is our little thank you note to Him. Having faith in God's promises is a true way to be blessed by his grace. No matter what tribulations you are facing, He will see you through it. Have faith that he will never leave nor forsake you. When you open up to all that he has to offer his grace upon you will be obvious to those around you.
