Experiencing Jesus for the First Time

The first time that I asked Jesus to come into my heart, I told him that I wanted to be true to him. I asked the Lord to give me what I needed to find happiness and life. I was sitting in the back of a Buick asking God to heal me inside and out. I had a tough life and I was not sure if Jesus was listening to me or not.

I used to attend Sunday school every week and I never felt like I truly understood the word of God. I was always praying and asking God to help me. The Lord helped me to understand him in such a unique way. I sat in the back of the car and I asked Jesus to come into my life while my friends prayed over me.

Suddenly I felt this beautiful warmth and coolness fall all over my body. I remember it as though it were happening yesterday. It was fun and exciting. I went home and started to pray and read the Bible everyday after that. I learned through that experience that serving Jesus was the easiest thing for me to do. He was always there for me and shockingly, I was happier all the more each day.

Experiencing Jesus for the first time can just make you feel like you have won. You may not even be in competition for anything. However, Jesus will make you feel like you and he are one. The Holy Spirit just relaxes you and he gives you meaning in your life. If you are lacking direction right now in your life, just ask Jesus to come into your heart and really mean it. If you don't know if Jesus is Lord, then please ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus Christ to you. I know that you will be happy that you did.

The spirit and heart of Christ is something that you have never experienced in your life. I strongly suggest that after you have asked Jesus into your heart and accepted him as the Lord and savior of your life, that you can begin learning from the Holy Spirit and from the Bible. There is nothing greater than to feel whole in Jesus Christ.

Jesus can certainly change your life if you are truly serious about coming to him. He wants to be able to just step into your life and just love you. The purpose of the gospel message is to give you salvation and a new start in life. If you think that you have messed up to much, then please try to remember that Jesus is not here to judge you, but to love you.
