Experiments in Dialogue

"You're insane!"

"Well I'd be hard pressed to deny it."

"You'll never get away with this!"

"Well I didn't see THAT line coming."

"For the love of God!"

"Montresor! Yes I know."

""I'll stop you!"

"It's going to be a hard thing to do buried in cement, but by all means try! I've always said a person can overcome any adversity as long as they're willing to try!"

"Damn you!"

"Well, I'm afraid that's between me and God."

'Someone will stop you!"

"Gosh I hope so! This is all very tiring, you'd be amazed at the stress levels I suffer from."

"Glub. Glub. Glub."

"You know that's the first thing you've said that didn't require explanation points? Hey! Who are you?"

"I'm the sarcasm editor. I'm afraid you're incapable of original dialogue, I'm taking you in for retraining."

"Wait a minute! I can be a good villain! I know I can!"

"Sorry, but you're just not coming off as down to the line evil. Annoying, but not evil."

"Give me another chance! I can do it! Listen to this: "Nyah ha ha!" See? How was that?"

"Not even close, come with me please."

"Wait! Wait! I can do it! Listen! How dare you mock my sinister schemes! The force is strong in this one! Lima beans! Lima beans! Arghhhhhhhhh!"

(Undergoes castration therapy)

"Now let's give it another go."

"You're insane!"

"I know you are but what am I?"

"CUT!"

I sat and listened to an elderly couple and tried to write down word for word what they were saying. I'm not sure it would have made for good reading.
