From Our Kitchen to Yours

Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees and let's build a pizza topping by topping.

You'll have to figure out the dough on your own. We've made our own dough once and the process was so messy we had to move afterward. Now, we always purchase the pre prepared pizza dough at the grocery store, but we still have fun with our toppings.

Yesterday, my children helped me create a deliciously unique pizza. You can't sample a piece, because there isn't any left. Here is our recipe to try for yourself from our house to yours.

Always start with pizza sauce after you've rubbed a little olive oil on the pre-prepared dough.Sorry.. we don't make our own yet. It comes in a jar and the label says Pizza Sauce. The trick is to refrain from using excessive sauce. One small jar is actually plenty for two pizzas. Next, sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on your culinary creation and add some feta cheese. Parmesan and Feta are both sold in the deli section of the grocery store. Now, don't forget the vegetables. We included broccoli, asparagus, onion, fresh basil leafs, parsley and cilantro. It bakes in only ten minutes. Wow.

This pizza is truly divine. You'll be snacking on it after dinner during American Idol and wishing you'd made more.

Note: The dough is already baked. That's why it doesn't take long in the oven. Balance things out

a bit by using all natural, fresh toppings as much as possible.
