The MPAA will host a Ronald Reagan Centennial event on Nov. 14.
OK, Reagan turned 100 in February and most events are over, but still, this should be noted.
According to Actors Connect, it has been announced that on Nov. 14, the MPAA (which is the Motion Picture Association of America) and the Ronald Reagan Foundation, are indeed hosting this event.
It will explore his role in movies and television and how they impacted his role as a communicator in the political field.
MPAA Chairman Chris Dodd noted to the show biz bible, Variety, "We look forward to exploring those communications gifts during our panel and to then celebrate his contributions to the film and television industry."
Perhaps now a few positive movies will be made about Ronald Reagan. Why? That is enough for a thesis, but what is needed, it seems, on this planet, is true leadership and Reagan provided that, no matter the political party you belong.
