Extraordinary Faith

Amanda Kidd
Faith is belief and trust in our Lord. Faith is being sure of what we wish for and certain of what we can't see. Simply stated, without faith it is impossible to please God. Our God knows He's the Lord of Lords. He knows His right arm moves mountains, and work signs, wonders, and miracles. He knows He can save and destroy, curse, and bless. He knows that our lives are literally in the palm of His hands. Do you know? Do you believe? He's waiting on you to truly dedicate your life to Him, ordaining Him the head of your life. Many Christians have limited faith as I was guilty of, some time ago, but today my faith is above the limits, that's crazy faith. I put my trust in the Creator of this universe because He can accomplish all. My dreams, goals, and challenges, with family, health, finances, and beyond, are in His care.

Some Christians are impatient when praying to God so they seek to solve their requests themselves. God will answer our prayers and meet our needs at His appropriate time, not ours. Some Christians lack faith because they feel God will reject their request, because faith is action, we are praying that God act on our behalf. We must believe that delay is not God denying us; He will never deprive us of basic needs like our hearts pumping, three meals a day, and other necessities. Maybe spiritually we're not ready to receive that blessing, and if it's not God's will, He will not grant our petition. God has a perfect plan for us but sometimes our visions are contrary to His. So we're disappointed because we believed in Him for something that His plans didn't include. That's why we pray if it's the Lord's will. Faith without deeds is dead. The Word says, ask, seek, and knock, those three are collaboration. God has a part and so do we. Our trials come to test and build our faith, so take up the shield of faith because the righteous must live by faith.
