Shark Diving
Ever wanted to swim with sharks? Ok, maybe not because you don't want to get eaten. What if you could swim with the sharks with very little chance of getting bit by a shark? That sounds a lot more tempting for adventure seekers. That's what shark diving is all about. Basically, you get into a cage that is lowered into the water. It allows you to see the sharks up close and personal without the threat of being eaten by one. However, it can be a scary sight when a great white swims your way, even though you are in a cage.
There are several companies around that provide trips designed around cage diving.
San Diego Shark Diving Expeditions, Inc. (http://www.sdsharkdiving.com/) is one company. They provide trips year round that provide excellent shark viewing and adventure opportunities.
Shark Diving International (http://www.seesharks.com/) also provides awesome shark encounter trips in various parts of the world.
If you are interested in taking a cage diving vacation, know that there are many packages out there. Do your research and find the one that best meets your needs and expectations. Here are some other places that offer cage diving vacation packages:

Polar Bear Encounter
Who wouldn't want to spend their vacation with the cute, fluffy polar bears? Well, it weren't for the fact that they will eat a person alive, probably a lot of people. Since polar bears are pretty mean, polar bear encounter tours usually involve some sort of large vehicle in order to provide safe viewing. Generally, these tours take place in Canada and sometimes Alaska. They offer a great opportunity to see the great polar bears in their natural habitat to admire all of their beauty. There are several tour companies that provide polar bear trips. They include:

These are some out of the ordinary vacation ideas that, while not as relaxing as some trips, definitely promise a great experience with plenty of memories and stories to tell.
