WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH: Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio. Championship is vacant.

Before The Draft Prediction:

This match was originally suppose to be Edge verse Alberto Del Rio; However, do to an injury Edge was forced to retire. To find a replacement for Edge the SmackDown Superstars faced off in an Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal. Christian won the Battle Royal, earning himself a match at Extreme Rules for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Since the match is a Ladder Match, Christian has the advantage. Even though Christian has the advantage, Del Rio has the numbers. Besides his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, Del Rio has his muscle Brodus Clay. With these two at his side I see only one reason why he would lose the match. The only reason Del Rio could lose is if the WWE decides to honor Edge by awarding Christian (Edge's long time friend) the World Heavyweight Championship. Christian being award the Championship is very possible, but I thought Del Rio would defeat Edge. Therefore, I'm sticking with Del Rio even though Christian has replaced Edge in the match.

Winner: New World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio

After The Draft Prediction:

During the WWE Draft, Del Rio was drafted to Raw. The WWE Universe may be thinking that Christian is sure to become Champion because Raw already has the WWE Championship. It would not make sense for them to have both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship on one show. That is a valid argument but both Championships could be going to the same show for a reason. WWE could be looking to unify the Championships. As a result of the Draft, SmackDown ended up with both the United States and Intercontinental Championship. That could lead to those Championships being unified. If Del Rio wins the World Heavyweight Championship, the same could be happening on Raw. I think it is a horrible idea to unify the Championships, which leads me to the second possibility. The second possibility involves a trade between Raw and SmackDown. If Del Rio wins and the World Heavyweight Championship comes to Raw, the WWE Championship could be heading to SmackDown. Whomever wins between The Miz, John Cena, and John Morrison could be traded to SmackDown taking the WWE Championship. This would allow Raw to get back the United States or Intercontinental Championship. For those reasons I'm sticking with Alberto Del Rio to win the match.

Winner: New World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT STEEL CAGE MATCH: The Miz (Champion) vs. John Cena vs. John Morrison

Before The Draft Prediction:

This match was originally suppose to be The Miz verse John Cena verse R-Truth; However, R-Truth was replaced by John Morrison. When R-Truth was featured in this match I never thought he would win. I thought Truth was placed in the match so that Cena could defeat him. That way The Miz could complain that he still deserves to be Champion because he did not lose the match. I'm still thinking along those lines. Instead of Cena defeating Truth he will defeat John Morrison. This scenario still gives The Miz the opportunity to complain that he should be Champion.

Winner: New WWE Champion John Cena

After The Draft Prediction:

The outcome of this match really depends on what WWE has planned for the Championships. If WWE is planning on unifying the Championships, I think John Cena will win. If WWE is planning on trading the WWE Championship to SmackDown, The Miz or John Morrison will win this match. It's hard to say what they are going to do but one thing I do know is that Morrison will not be winning this match, leaving The Miz or John Cena to claim victory. I can not see either one of these Superstars going to SmackDown. John Cena was drafted to SmackDown and a few hours later drafted back to Raw. That makes me believe the WWE wants Cena on Raw. It is possible that The Miz could get traded to SmackDown. SmackDown is without a top heel, but The Miz has been WWE Champion on Raw for the past five months. I also don't see The Miz having anyone to face on SmackDown. The top face is Randy Orton, who has already battled The Miz on a number of occasions. For those reasons I will stick with my original pick of John Cena.

Winner: New WWE Champion John Cena

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

Before The Draft Prediction:

Randy Orton defeated CM Punk at Wrestle Mania XXVII. Orton was unable to punt Punk in the head when his knee gave out in the middle of the ring. Orton got the upper hand at Wrestle Mania XXVII but Punk was not finished with Orton yet. On the April 11th episode of Monday Night Raw, The New Nexus returned. Proving they have withstood ' The Curse of CM Punk ' for the time being. They interfered in Orton's match, costing him another shot at the WWE Championship. Now Orton has the opportunity to get his revenge on Punk in a Last Man Standing Match. To bad the odds are stacked against Orton. When Orton and Punk faced off at Wrestle Mania XXVII, The New Nexus was banned from ring side. At Extreme Rules, The New Nexus will guarantee Punk victory. The only way I see Punk losing this match is if someone from The New Nexus betrays him.

Winner: CM Punk

After The Draft Prediction:

Rumors have been floating around that CM Punk may be leaving the company. Punk was offered a new contract and has yet to sign it. Extreme Rules could be the perfect opportunity for the WWE to write Punk off of television. Orton was unsuccessful at Wrestle Mania XXVII when he attempted to punt Punk in the head. This time Punk may not be so lucky. If Punk gets punted in the head it will be the perfect scenario to take him off television. Another possible scenario would be for The New Nexus to betray their leader CM Punk. The New Nexus all experienced Orton's punt to the head. Punk did nothing to protect them from that outcome. Now that The New Nexus has returned, they could be upset with Punk for allowing that to happen. To get revenge on Punk they would brutally attack him after the match, allowing the WWE to write him off of television. If Punk is going to be written off television it would make sense for Orton to win this match. Besides Orton was just drafted to SmackDown, a win at Extreme Rules could allow anyone from the WWE Universe who has not seen Orton on Raw to become more familiar with him.

Winner: Randy Orton

FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

Before The Draft Prediction:

Cody Rhodes defeated Rey Mysterio at Wrestle Mania XXVII. Victory was not good enough for Rhodes. Rhodes is still angry with Mysterio for ruining his face. Rhodes should have quit while he was ahead and accepted his victory over Mysterio. You could say Rhodes got lucky at Wrestle Mania XXVII when he used Mysterio's knee brace against him. Rhodes may have never tried to use Mysterio's knee brace if Mysterio did not attempt to use it on Rhodes first. That mistake ended up costing Mysterio the match. I'm sure Mysterio learned from his mistake at Wrestle Mania XXVII. Learning from his mistake will allow Mysterio to pick up the victory at Extreme Rules.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

After The Draft Prediction:

During the draft SmackDown lost a lot of it's heel Superstars to Raw. SmackDown lost Del Rio, Swagger, and McIntyre. Allowing Rhodes to become one of SmackDown's top heels. If the WWE wants the WWE Universe to know that, they should allow Rhodes to win. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Cody Rhodes.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

TAG TEAM COUNTRY WHIPPING MATCH: Jerry 'The King' Lawler & Jim Ross vs. Michael Cole & Jack Swagger

Michael Cole shocked the WWE Universe at Wrestle Mania XXVII when he defeated Jerry Lawler. Although Cole received some help from the Anonymous Raw General Manager, a victory is still a victory. Now that Cole has Swagger on his team it would appear that he has the advantage. Having a slight advantage will not help Cole. Cole will more than likely abandon Swagger when things don't start going their way. This will lead to Lawler and Ross picking up the victory.

Winners: Jerry 'The King' Lawler & Jim Ross

LOSER LEAVES WWE MATCH: Layla vs. Michelle McCool

Michelle McCool will be leaving the WWE. McCool asked for this stipulation on SmackDown. While asking Layla if she accepts, McCool became teary-eyed. That leads me to believe that McCool will be leaving the WWE. It is possible that McCool was sad for Layla but Layla did not look as sad as McCool. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Layla.

Winner: Layla
