Target shooting

Target shooting can be an indoor or outdoor gun sport. The goal of target shooting is to shoot an inanimate object, usually a target board made of carton and shaped like a person. Clay pigeons and metal plates are also used as targets.

Target shooting is played at specific distances to targets that are designated for scoring. One could choose from a wide array of guns such as a caliber .45, a nine millimeter pistol, or even a shotgun. As protective gear, a shooter is required to wear shooting glasses, earmuffs, and a timer to determine how fast he or she can shoot the target.

The basic goal of target shooting is to shoot the target at your desired speed and where you want to hit it. Competition could be about who gets the highest score or by doing the "fastest fingers" game with the targets.

Skill and attitude requirements for this particular game include keen eyes, sense of responsibility, steady hands, and stable thinking.

Paintballing

Paintballing is the perfect game for those looking for a sport that does not require too much physical exertion but still wish to get a bit of adrenalin rush and action. This game is played by two teams. The players for this game need to wear protective suits, combat gear, and masks. They are armed with paintballing guns. The main objective of the game is to hit an opponent with paintballs. These paintballs are actually encapsulated paint in plastic bullets which break and splatter when it hits a solid surface, sometimes resembling blood.

The playing fields for this game are often themed. It could be a jungle adventure or a military camp. Generally, the playing fields are designed in such a way that players can move and run about freely. A jumble of odds and ends serves as posts or pillars where players can take shelter against the bullets.
