Eye Intense

As M.A.C. unveiled its vibrant shades of summer, first ooohs, than aaaahs, than an oh! escaped from perfectly 'Spirit' filled and 'Whirl' lined lips. A M.A.C. make-up girl since I started wearing shade, (I'll never forget that first artist who introduced me to the line... "Welcome to pigment, girl!" he beamed) I've kept up with the collections with as much eagerness as a little girl waiting for the next American Girl story.

"C Shock" seriously came as a shock to me. For a season that's shaping up to embody for the of the "Viva Glam" vibe, I am surprised to see such outrageous color all over. Other than to the members of the Blue Man Group, I would be surprised to see sales of the new 'Blast O'Blue', or some of the other outrageously vibrant lipsticks, really fly off the shelves.

Here's my take on the summer trend. For years now it's been either lids or lips, and with summer gloss an essential staple, the "Eyes" have it. The "C Shock" Collection is perfect for this!
