"Eye" Tunes for Wonder Woman Lynda Carter

The new Wonder Woman film, currently in production, should hit theaters in June. When I read that item at www.hollywoodjesus.com, I immediately began to to think about Lynda Carter. She of course was the original star of the "Wonder Woman" TV series, the actress who will probably always be associated with the sexiest comic book herine.

Carter certainly looked sexy in that tight, colorful costume. Her most alluring features, however, were her eyes. Those beauiful orbs were the perfect complement to her dark hair. It's no wonder why the website Toptenz.com selected Carter as being one of the ten atresses with the prettiest eyes. She finished third, just behind AngelinaJolie and Aishwarya Rai.

Should Lynda Carter decide to attend the opening of the new Wonder Woman film, I suggest that she listen these "Eye" tunes on the way.

10. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor: Long before the word became a reality TV show, Survivor was a rock band. Their most famous, enduring recording was this tune, thanks to the film "Rocky II."

6. "The Evil Eye" by The Joe Jackson Band: This is the only electric track on Beat Crazy, thus the final tie to the new wave Jackson of the first two albums. The lyrics include voodoo and other forms of black magic that cause Jackson to sing, "I can't move I'm hypnotized, Staring into a dead pig's eyes."

5. "Green-Eyed Lady" by Sugarloaf: The song opens with a simple but addictive riff before we meet the various adjectives for the mysterious "ocean lady" and "passion lady."

4. "Eyes of New York Woman" by B.J. Thomas: As if Thomas' fabulous vocals weren't enough, the sparkling manolin makes this song from On My Way one of the best tracks in his impressive discography.

3. "Bown-Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison: One of the singer-songwriter's most recognized songs, the classic endures for its playful melody and nostalgic images of waterfalls and the backs of high school football stadiums.

2. "These Eyes" by The Guess Who: This sweet pop song is one of the band's first hits, allowing listeners to hear the passionate voice of Burton Cummings.

1. "Lyin' Eyes" by The Eagles: Glenn Frey's voice evokes the sympathy all three - the old husband, the wife, and even her lover- in this classic tale of a hopeless love triangle from One of These Nights.
