Eyeball Cookies

Rebecca Bardelli

Make eyeball cookies this Halloween. Eyeball cookies are easy to create, and they make a great centerpiece for a party. With just a few supplies, you can create tasty and festive cookies everyone is sure to die for.

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Cut the sugar cookie dough into thick circles, using the round cookie cutter.
  2. Bake the sugar cookies following the directions on the package or according to the recipe you used.
  3. Mix orange, black, and purple food coloring into three separate containers of vanilla frosting.
  4. Frost the cookies. Use plenty of frosting since it is going to serve as glue for the gummy eyeballs.
  5. Place the gummy eyeballs in the center of each cookie.
  6. Allow the frosting to dry.
If you have kids, let them join in the fun and help you make the eyeball cookies. This can serve as both a cooking lesson and a craft.

Serve eyeball cookies for any fall party, Halloween party, or October birthday party. Sugar and spice and everything spooky, that is what eyeball cookies are made of. Eat an eyeball, a gummy eyeball that is!

Serve, eat, and enjoy!
