Eyebee: Eye Speaks to Help Take Care of Your Eyes

Eyebee has been added to the Eyedoctornewsletter which started with recipes from my New Orleans background. The Eyebee character is featured in answers to questions commonly posed by patients in my 30 years of Ophthalmology practice. Eyebee likes cooking and recipes as much as the next guy. The funnies and quotes and puzzles of the day are becoming more popular. Patients ask me about recipes and most recently about Eyebee.

The lack of understanding about eye health leads to significant loss of vision among large segments of our population in America and the world and Eyebee will do his small part to reduce that damage. A lot of this damage can be avoided if people take proper care of their eyes and understand the facts about eyesight. Eyebee is a honeybee character which hopefully will attract good questions from the public like bees to honey. There are literally thousands of sources on the internet to answer people's questions but a lot of it is "medical speak" which can be confusing.

Eyebee has a lot of fun with the Eyedoctornewsletter website and Eyebee can save some eyes and some precious vision by making things clearer.
